Letter from the President
Hello everyone, and welcome to the official website for Panhellenic at Western Carolina University! Our Greek community is excited that you are interested in learning more about our values-based Panhellenic community.
Our NPC organizations strive to hold ourselves to a high standard. According to Western’s Greek Student Engagement page, CPC has a higher GPA than the overall Women’s GPA on campus. With our small community of four organizations, we constantly strive to build a stronger, more empowering, and inclusive community. Our community is affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), and we abide by all North Carolina, WCU, and CDC guidelines.
Our philanthropies include Starkey’s hearing, Fighting Hunger, Domestic Violence Awareness, and Children’s Miracle Network. Still, we do not limit ourselves to just CPC philanthropies! Panhellenic members of our community are not just members of our sororities but also active in the Honors College, our amazing band PoTM, sports, and many other clubs here on campus.
I am very passionate about Greek life and glad that my Panhellenic sisters encouraged me to step up and become the strong leader they know I can be. I know they will support me every day to lead this inclusive and goal-driven community. I will always be a supporter of Panhellenic life. I will continue to be a firm believer in every single member of these amassing organizations. Whether you decide to go Greek or not, my community and I will always welcome you. Panhellenic life has made me a better friend, sister, and student leader. Hopefully, it will positively impact your life like it did with mine.
As always, Go Cats and Go Greek,
Leah Henry, President ’21 - ‘22
